Our Story
Before their first date even happened, Guada was pretty sure she was about to meet a celebrity.
Louisa was a bit of a mystery—no real trace on Instagram, nothing obvious on Google. So naturally, when Guada searched for “Louisa Dodge,” the only thing that came up was an actress from the show Derry Girls. Guada was excited. Like, truly excited. She told her friends, “I think I’m going on a date with an Irish actress??” As it turns out… she wasn’t. But what she did find was even better: the real Louisa Dodge.
They met for drinks at a tiny, tucked-away bar in the Lower East Side called Lovers of Today—right in the middle of the pandemic. The plan was to have one quick drink. But that first drink turned into 15 hours. Fifteen hours of walking around the city, talking nonstop, and somehow feeling like they’d known each other forever. By the end of the night, something had shifted—something that felt immediate, rare, and very real.
A few days later, Guada invited Louisa to her Taylor Swift–themed birthday party (because obviously), and things moved pretty quickly from there. That summer was full of joy: rooftop hangs, road trips, too many photos, and the beginning of something deep and steady. They adopted a cat. Then another cat. They met each other’s families, hosted little dinner parties, and began building a life together in the most natural way.
Then came the proposal. Or, the first proposal. Guada told Louisa she had a work trip to LA and asked if she wanted to come along. What Louisa didn’t know was that there was no work trip—Guada had secretly planned a surprise getaway to Martha’s Vineyard, where she proposed at sunset by the Edgartown lighthouse. A few weeks later, Louisa proposed back—this time at home, with Chimi and Bizi (their cats/children) present for the big moment.
And now, here we are.
Getting married in Buenos Aires—Guada’s hometown—in a place that means so much to both of them. They couldn’t be more excited to celebrate surrounded by the people they love, in the city where it all feels like magic.

The Wedding
Venue
Palacio San Souci, Buenos Aires
The big day! We’ll be getting married at the historic Palacio San Souci at 7 PM. It’s going to be a summer evening filled with love, music, and lots of dancing.
We can’t wait to share this moment with you in a place that feels truly magical.
Dress code: Summer formal—elegant but comfortable. Think light fabrics, garden vibes, and shoes you can move in.
Somehow we still like each other after assembling IKEA furniture, traveling internationally, and owning two cats with big personalities. We call that a win.
Between the cats, the comics, and an alarming number of baseball cards, we’re basically one Etsy store away from needing more shelves and fewer opinions.
But we do it together, and that’s the dream.
